Flat embossing is the basic form of stamping foil printing, where, depending on the techniques and materials used, the transferred layers will ideally almost be level with the material they were printed on.
Raised embossing has one, two or three dimensions and may include differentiated structures without embossing foil. Tailor-made embossing tools and machines enable the surfaces of your printed materials to take interesting forms.
For these techniques, we create one to three-dimensional raised or relief structures, which may include differentiated structures by using embossing foil in one step (one-track approach). Alternatively, we use flat embossing or flat stamping foil printing in a first step, and then proceed with blind embossing (two-track approach). We use special embossing patrix tools, which enable us to transfer the foil at the same time as creating a relief.
Here, we combine flat embossing and flat stamping foil printing and relief embossing or relief stamping foil printing with very fine changes in foil surface, without using a counter form. That way, we can create special effects and impressions by changing light refraction as the visual angle is changed.
In cooperation with the foil producer LEONHARD KURZ, we have developed a unique GT hologram. Any product that is refined with this technology ensures that it is a counterfeit-proof GT product. This allows the use of a smartphone app to scan the hologram for both verification and other customer-relevant information. Strong customer loyalty necessitates networking your products with the digital world, especially in these fast-moving times. With the aid of the app, you can store any kind of information, with no limits to your imagination. To ensure product safety, the app is individually programmed for the hologram’s parameters, and only works if the correct hologram has been scanned. Through the user-friendly operation, potential buyers can be reached and convinced directly at the point of sale.
